Resolution
The Pre's camera has a 3.0-megapixel rating that should yield images with a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536.
Live Preview
Though not presented during the announcement or demonstrations afterward, we were able to get a peek at the live preview to see that it takes up the entire screen, with guide lines in the middle to show you the center of the image. Three icons across the bottom show you a shortcut to the photo album software where captured images are saved, the on-screen shutter button, and the flash indicator/toggle.

Interface
When inquiring about the camera's interface and settings, we were told that they were not yet finalized.
Photo Album Software
The Palm's photo album software organizes photos by album. Within an album, saved images are shown in a thumbnail view.

Focus
The Pre's lens if a fixed focus one.
Flash
The Pre has an LED flash.
Video Resolution
The Palm Pre is not capable of capturing video.
