Conclusion
Considering Palm's relative lack of innovation in the smartphone space in the past few years, we are excited to see the Pre and webOS. While many details are still lacking, it nonetheless promises to be an interesting device, with the recipe on paper to provide a pleasant and intuitive user experience, the right connectivity options, and a high level of interconnectivity with popular web services. If things like desktop synchronization with PCs and Macs, a robust 3rd-party application market, good battery life, and a less-than-stratospheric price all line up, the Pre will give many devices a run for their money.
