Orange Stops Sale of Bold, Prada 2 in Q4 2008, Sony Ericsson W760a Debuts on AT&T

Orange temporarily holds the sale of the Bold, Prada 2 anticipated by Q4 2008, new phones debut on ATT and Verizon Wireless network. Here is today’s mobile round up.

Orange UK has stopped the sales of the BlackBerry Bold temporarily. The reason they are citing is that the some 3G related problems have cropped up in the Bold, which RIM is fixing.

Says Orange:
“Orange UK and (BlackBerry manufacturer) RIM are currently working on providing a maintenance release of software to address some reported 3G-related concerns.”

Those who can’t do away their cellphones even when driving should invest in the DriveAssist software. The application detects a cellphone in a moving car and then alerts the cellular network, telling it to hold calls and text messages till the car stops!



LG in a press release announced that the second Prada mobile phone should see a 4Q 2008 release. The new Prada mobile will be available with a starting price of 600 Euros.

 


The Sony Ericsson W760a Walkman phone is now available on AT&T for $129.99 after a two-year agreement. Features include; Mobile Email, instant messenger, fulls HTML Web browsing, a 3.2 megapixel camera and AT&T Navigator for turn-by-turn directions and mapping functions.





The Motorola Krave ZN4 is now available from today courtesy Verizon Wireless. Retailing for $150 after rebates, the phone features a touch user interface, stereo Bluetooth and EV-DO Rev.
