Nokia To Launch WiMAX Phones By 2008

Looks like Nokia is upping its ante by introducing WiMAX mobile phones in the year 2008. For the uninitiated WiMAX provide high-speed Internet access from portable devices like cellphones and is almost 10 times cheaper than 3G.

"Nokia plans to bring its first WiMAX enabled mobile device to market in early 2008," Nokia said in a statement
