Synchronization & Push
The details on the N97's synchronization and push capabilities are not yet known, but we do expect it will be in line with other N-series devices and be capable of desktop synchronization with both PCs and Macs.
Contacts
The N97's contacts application, as well as every other PIM application we looked at on the N97, is different than the ones found on other N-series devices. The N97 runs the S60 5th edition operating system, whereas other N-series devices run S60 3rd Edition with Feature Pack 2. The N97's OS looks to be optimized to take advantage of the touchscreen and other hardware features of the N97.

Calendar
The N97's calendar application offers multiple views, as you'd expect. The month view looks particularly useful, taking advantage of the wide screen and showing additional information to the right, in the same way the iPhone 3G shows appointment information below the calendar in its month view.

Tasks
The N97 has a tasks application to help you keep you on track.

Notes
The N97 has a notes application that should help you keep track of random information that doesn't go anywhere else.
