Dialing
The N97 has a virtual keypad good-sized buttons. There's also an embedded dial pad in the QWERTY keypad through which you can dial as well.

Send and End Buttons
The N97's Send and End buttons are backlit touch-sensitive ones embedded in the front fascia below the screen, and they're a little too close to each other for comfort; it would be a bit too easy to hit the wrong one by accident. We didn't find them very responsive during our time with the N97, but we attribute this to the prototype status of the units we handled and fully expect them to be responsive in the final production version.
