Keyboard/Keypad
The Nokia's keyboard has fairly flat keys with a rubbery texture to them. While we like the spacing between the keys, they're a little too flat for our tastes, and the D-pad to the left means your left thumb has a longer reach to the keys on that side, resulting in a slightly unbalanced feel while typing.

Controls
The N97 has a touchscreen and full QWERTY keyboard will be the primary methods used for navigation and text entry. The D-pad next to the keyboard has good feel and is useful for times when navigating by touch may not be feasible or as quick as desired. The only other control key besides the Send and End keys is a menu key, which does exactly what you think it does.

Display
The N97's 3.5" widescreen touchscreen has a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels and is capable of showing up to 16 million colors. It tilts upward when the keyboard is revealed to aid you in viewing it fully.
Ports & Storage
The N97 has a whopping 32GB of internal storage, which can be augmented with a microSD card for up to 16GB of additional storage. While not up to the capacity of many MP3 players, this is pretty impressive for a cell phone and should allow you to store a good amount of media on it.
The N97 has a micro USB port for charging and syncing.
