Value (3.5)
The Nokia N95 with US 3G is available for $699 direct from Nokia or from many online retailsers. at the moment no US carriers are offering it, so you'll have to pay the full cost of the handset if you want it. And this means that it is very expensive; you could pick up two Pantech Duos for this price, and have enough left over for a large number of cups of coffee. But the N95 is an incredibly powerful phone with a huge range of features, so it's a question of if the features it offers are worth the price.
Comparisons

Nokia N73 - The Nokia N95 could be described as the Nokia N73 on steriods. The collection of upgrades over the N73 is long, including updated software, GPS, Wi-Fi, bigger screen, video out. Mini-USB and a much better camera. Still, the N73 is not without its own good points, we found the keypad on the N73 to be better than the N95's and it is much more pocketable. It also did much better in our battery tests than the N95 did, and it is over $300 cheaper. Those looking for the ultimate all in one will gravitate toward the N95, while those who want a solid feature set for a somewhat more reasonable price will be happy with the N73.

Palm Centro - The Palm Centro is Palm's latest attempt to hit the low end of the market, and it offers a surprisingly good feature set for under $100. But the N95 beats the Centro in a number of ways; the camera is far superior, the built-in software is better and it has features like GPS that the cEntro doesn't. But it is much more expensive, so the cEntro may be a better pick for someone who need some high-end features, but doesn't ahve the big bucks to lay out on the N95.

Pantech Duo - The Duo has one thing that the N95 does not: a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. And that will be a big plus for frequent texters and emailers; even a relatively lackluster keyboard like the one on the Duo is much, much faster than the keypad of the N95. But with most other features, the N95 has a big edge: the N95 camera is far superior to the poor Duo camera, the built-in software is more fully featured and the Duo has no GPS receiver. Of course, the Duo is much cheaper (at $199 with a 2-year contract), so the question is how much these extra features are worth.

HTC Tilt - The HTC tilt can compete with the N95 on the features front; it has a bigger, better screen, QWERTY keyboard, GPS receiver and supports 3G networks. And the Tilt has the lift-up screen that puts it in a better position for using on an airline tray table. But the Tilt is slower to use than the N95; while the screen on the N95 generally snap into place quickly, the Tilt often takes a couple of seconds to redraw the screen when you slide the screen up to get to the keyboard.
