Synchronization & Push
There's nothing in the N86's specs yet about its synchronization capability, but we would expect it to be as capable as the N82 in this area, which could sync with a PC through Nokia's PC Suite software with Outlook or Lotus Notes, or on Mac via an iSync plug-in.

Contacts
Nothing new here - the contacts interface looks the same on the N86 as we've seen on other N-series phones. As with other S60 devices, we expect there to be a large number of fields to enable you to save a good bit of information about your contacts.

The new contact dialogue

Calendar
The calendar is another area that doesn't appear to have changed from other N-series devices. There are month, week, and day calendar views, and we also expect to see the same somewhat limited offering of fields to save event information as we saw in the N82.

Tasks
As with the N82, the tasks application is incorporated into the calendar application. While we hope we won't see the same limited number of fields for tasks as we saw in the N82 once we get the N86 into our lab, we won't hold our breath.

The tasks application

Notes
The N86 has a notes application and our guess is that it will be as limited in terms of sorting and formatting options as we've seen before, but we can always dream.
