We fully expect the E75 to follow appropriately in the footsteps of its older sibling, the E71, in being a very capable email device. Its specs indicate it will support the POP3 and IMAP4 protocols and will be Microsoft Exchange compatible.

Instant Messaging
The E75 does have a native instant messaging application but no demo accounts were set up on the unit we examined. The specs state that the E75's IM function uses "presence-enhanced contacts", which allows you to share your location with your contacts, and vice versa.

Text & Multimedia Messaging
The E75 is capable of text and multimedia messaging and includes something we wished for sorely on the E71 - a unified interface for both SMS and MMS messages. When creating a text message on the E75, you can easily choose to turn into an MMS message by adding media, as shown in the screenshot below.
