Tethered Modem (6.5)
The Nokia E71 can be used as a tethered modem for your computer via USB or Bluetooth. You will need to go online to get instructions on how to set up the tethering, but the process is straightforward.
GPS (8.0)
The Nokia E71 has GPS functionality, which is assisted by cell towers to help you get a lock faster. Nokia's Maps 2.0 software provides very good integration with the GPS, you can do searches based on your location and get directions easily. Voice guided turn by turn directions will cost you extra however, about $10 per month. You can also install a third party application like Garmin or Tom Tom to make use of the E71's GPS functionality if you don't like Nokia's solution, or you can go get a free program like Google Maps and use it as well.

FM Radio (5.0)
The E71 has a built in FM Radio, you will need to have the included headset plugged in as it acts as the antenna for the radio, but this is a nice extra feature for many.
