New Calling Feature for AT&T GoPhone customers, Rogers Confirms HTC Dream G1 and More

Apple has sent an email to developers stating that only applications that are compatible with iPhone OS 3.0 will be accepted starting May 7.
Says Apple:
“Beginning today, all submissions to the App Store will be reviewed on the latest beta of iPhone OS 3.0. If your app submission is not compatible with iPhone OS 3.0, it will not be approved."

Starting May 11, AT&T GoPhone customers can take advantage of a new offer that includes unlimited nationwide calling for just $3 per day. The new AT&T GoPhone plan includes no roaming or long distance fees. For more information go here.
Canadian network Rogers Communication has confirmed that the HTC Dream G1, which runs the Android OS, will debut on the network on June 2.

Engadget Mobile has posted some pictures of a new BlackBerry device codenamed “Onyx." The 3G-enabled GSM device resembles the Bold and may debut on the AT&T network soon.
If you were looking forward to the upcoming Garmin nuvifone GPS/smartphones, it looks like you'll have to wait a little longer. The phone has been delayed and won’t be released until the second half of 2009.
