Cellular Bands (4.0)
The Razr2 V9m is a dual band (800/1900) CDMA handset that only works on Verizon's network. Because CDMA isn't widespread outside of North America the Verizon version of the Razr2 V9m probably isn't a good choice for world travelers. Within the United States, however, Verizon provides coverage as good as any of the other major carriers. Our score for cellular bands is standardized based on the total number of bands supported.
Data Support Score (6.0)
The Razr2 V9m supports Verizon's high speed EVDO network, with average network speeds between 400 and 700 Kbps. It does not support the newer EVDO Rev A network, with average speeds around 1 Mbps. Verizon's EVDO network is pretty widespread around urban areas, and where you can't access it the Razr2 V9m will fall back on the slower (but more widespread) 1XRTT network.
Bluetooth (6.0)
The Razr2 V9m supports Bluetooth 1.2, which is a little surprising. On a new device like this we would have expected to see the newer Bluetooth 2.0 used. The selection of profiles is decent: headset, hands free, A2DP, AVRCP, OBEX Push, OBEX FTP, and dial-up networking. We were able to easily pair a Bluetooth headset and headphones with the phone.
Wi-Fi (0.0)
The Razr2 V9m does not support Wi-Fi.
Infrared (0.0)
The Razr2 V9m does not include Infrared connectivity.
