Value From Sprint (7.0)
The Motorola Razr V3m is available from Sprint with a 2 year contract for $24.99. That price includes a $50 mail in rebate. Alternatively you can purchase the phone from Sprint without a contract for $249.99. At the 2 year contract price the Motorola Razr V3m is a solid buy, providing a stylish form factor with some nice features like music playback and expandable memory. The $249.99 non contract price is frankly a little high for a phone with these specifications, and you can likely purchase one 2nd hand for significantly less.
Comparisons
Sanyo M1 - The Sanyo M1 is a direct challenge to the Razr's approach of looks first, packing a significant amount of features into a thicker body. Despite the fact that the M1 leaves the Razr in the dust in terms of features, even we have to admit that there's something fundamentally "nice" about holding the Razr V3m in your hand. If you looking for sexy, go with the Razr, if you want something that's going to do more than make calls, you might want to consider the M1.
LG Chocolate - The LG Chocolate takes the idea of creating a good looking phone in a different direction. With it's more angular features in all black and the clean touch screen interface, the Chocolate shows you can do sexy without necessarily being thin. It also packs many more features in than the Razr, although we like the Razr's controls and keypad much better than the Chocolate's.
Motorola Q - With the Q Motorola went in the same direction as the Razr, but in a completely different way. The Q is also thin for its class, but packs a huge amount of functionality in with Windows Mobile 5 support. Those looking for a phone from Motorola that will give them a ton of features, but will still slip into a jeans pocket may want to consider the Q.
