MobileFiles Pro is a new iPhone application that lets one edit and create Microsoft Excel 2003 documents. One can download it for $9.99 from the Apple App Store.

A new patent filed by RIM indicates that the Canadian company is contemplating a BlackBerry with a fold-out "wing" style keyboard. Similar to the BlackBerry Pearl, the phone has a numeric keyboard that can flip out to reveal a SureType keyboard.

DigiTimes is reporting that Sony Ericsson will outsource its second set of Xperias to Mobinnova, a handset maker under Foxconn Electronics. So looks like HTC who manufactured the first set of Xperias is out of the picture.
Handsets from Philips may not generate the same excitement as say a Nokia, however the Philips Xenium X620 does look like a decent phone. Boasting of a talk time of 12 hours, the handset also features 3.2-megapixel camera, a video record mode and EDGE.
