According to Sony Ericsson, the Xperia X1 will start shipping in the second half of 2008 in select markets. Sony Ericsson chose to make an announcement after rumors of a delay started cropping up on the net."There is absolutely no delay. The product is on track," Sony Ericsson spokeswoman Merran Wrigley said. "We have said it will roll out in Q4 and we are on target to do that." Long Zheng is reporting that Microsoft is developing a Windows Mobile 7 application store, which should debut by next year. His claim is based on a number of job listings posted by Microsoft. Nokia in a press release announced that Carphone Warehouse would be the exclusive U.K. pre-pay channel to sell the 5310 XpressMusic handset with its Comes With Music service.
