Conclusion
The LG enV2 is a worthy successor to the original enV. Although we didn't review that phone the enV2 has a lot going for it including a very usable QWERTY keyboard for typing out messages, decent multimedia capabilities, good battery life and a reasonable price at $129.99 with a contract. There are a few negatives, for example we don't like the web browser at all and handling the device can be awkward at times, especially when taking a photo while it is open. We also wish it had better email support. Despite these drawbacks we think the enV2 is going to be very attractive to the young texting set. If you're looking to make your teenager happy the LG enV2 is a very good choice, and will cost you a lot less than an iPhone.
Business User
Business users may be attracted by the LG enV2's QWERTY keyboard and excellent battery life, but the lack of advanced email and organizer capabilities probably make it too limiting.
Budget Callers
The LG enV2 is probably too expensive for budget callers, you can find a lot of solid cell phones for closer to the $50 price point. That said it's not ridiculously expensive, if you wait a few months you can probably pick it up for a reasonable amount.
Chatty Teenager
Chatty teenagers will love the LG enV2. The QWERTY keyboard is great for texting your friends and the styling is attractive. Plus the excellent battery life will allow even the gabbiest teenagers to talk to their hearts content, or until their parents pull the plug.
With support for SDHC memory cards for up to 8GB of storage, a large internal screen for watching video and solid battery life when playing music the LG enV2 is a solid pick for a Media Maven who doesn't want to pay for a high end device like the Nokia N95 or iPhone. That being said not everything is perfect, we're not that fond of the V Cast music software and the video organization capabilities are very limited.
