Cellular Bands (4.0)
The LG Voyager is a dual band (800/1800) CDMA handset that is locked to Verizon's network. Even if the phone wasn't locked to the network CDMA is not a widespread technology, with most carriers worldwide using the GSM standard instead. This means the Voyager isn't a good choice for anyone who's a world traveler.
Data Support Score (6.0)
The LG Voyager supports high speed data via Verizon's EVDO network, with average speeds between 500 and 700 kbps. This is more than fast enough for most web browsing and also good enough for downloading music or streaming media content. Where EVDO is not available you fall back on the slower 1XRTT network with max speeds around 100 kbps.
Bluetooth (8.0)
The LG Voyager supports Bluetooth 1.2. It has a very good selection of profiles available including headset, hands-free, dial up networking, A2DP, object push, FTP, human interface, basic imaging and basic printing. We are surprised that it doesn't also support AVRCP for controlling music playback with your Bluetooth device as this is usually paired with A2DP support for Bluetooth stereo headphones, but apart from this we are very content with the selection of profiles on the Voyager. We were easily able to get a headset paired with the Voyager.
Wi-Fi (0.0)
The Voyager doesn't support Wi-Fi.
Infrared (0.0)
There is no Infrared support on the LG Voyager.
