LG Versa Debuts on Verizon, Nokia’a Comes With Music coming to US in 2009 and More

Verizon Wireless has announced the availability of LG Versa. Boasting of a touch display and a QWERTY keyboard, Versa also includes an accelerometer, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and GPS.

Nokia has confirmed that their Comes With Music subscription service will be available in the US "sometime in 2009." Nokia's Senior Manager for North American Communications, Chris Morris however didn’t divulge and other details.

The Opera Mobile 9.5 browser now supports Google Gears. One needs to go to the Gears web site and click the “Install Gears” tab. Gears is currently available for Firefox 1.5+, IE 6.0+, Internet Explorer Mobile 4.01+, Safari 3.1.1, and Android.




Nokia's CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo in a TV interview to a Finnish channel admitted that the company is contemplating entering the laptop industry.
“We are looking very actively also at this opportunity," Kallasvuo said, when asked whether Nokia plans to make laptops.
