Cellular Bands (4.0)
The Venus is a dual-band CDMA phone, meaning it runs on the 850 and 1900 MHz frequencies. It also means the phone won't work outside the US, Canada or a few other locales. This is in contrast to GSM phones that can be used in most countries in the world.
Data Support Score (6.0)
The Venus runs on EVDO, which provides you with pretty good data speeds of around 500 to 700 kbps. Verizon's EVDO network is pretty widespread but if you happen to be in an area it doesn't cover you fall back on 1XRTT, with speeds maxing out at 100 kbps.
Bluetooth (9.0)
The Venus supports Bluetooth 1.2, and has a good-sized bundle of supported profiles. Your Venus can handle headset, hands–free, dial up networking, advanced audio distribution in stereo, A/V remote control, phone book access, a limited object push, file transfer, and printing.
Wi-Fi (0.0)
The Venus doesn't support wi-fi connectivity.
Infrared (0.0)
Very few phones support infrared. The Venus is in the majority on this one.
