LG Rhythm debuts on Alltel, Firefox Mobile in Beta now, Bold gets a release date again and more. Here is today’s mobile web round up.


The LG Rhythm is now available on Alltel for $119.99 after $50 mail-in-rebate and a two-year contract. Targeted at the audiophile, the Rhythm features a FM radio/transmitter, microSD external card support and a 3.5mm headset jack.
 

 


 

 

 

Mozilla has unveiled the mobile version of its popular Firefox browser. Available in Beta, Firefox Mobile for now only supports Nokia’s N810 and N880 Internet tablets and comes with a PC emulator.

A Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrade is now available for Samsung Ace running on the Sprint network. You can download it from here and the upgrade adds the following features:

- View & Edit Excel® and Word® files on the go.
- Chat-style text messaging.
- Sprint Navigation with Live Search.


 

 

 

According to the rumor mill, (and by that we mean BGR) at the WES 2009, RIM will unveil a new a BlackBerry Storm-type device. The smartphone will feature a touchscreen in addition to a physical QWERTY keyboard.
