LG Names West Coast Texting Champion

San Diego, April 6^th 2007- 21-year old Eli Trosh is now $10,000 richer, thanks to her ability to type text messages quickly. She’s the new west coast champion in LG’s National Texting Championship, where texters compete to be the fastest at sending text messages using LG’s enV handsets. She now goes on to face the east coast champion in the finals on the 21^st of April.

The competition is still open for those on the east coast; the east coast champion will be picked on the 21^st and will face Eli for an additional prize of $15,000. LG didn’t specify, however, how fast Eli was, or what the phrases that she had to text to win were. The finals of the National Texting Championships take place in New York on the 21^st.
