Tethered Modem (7.0)
The Chocolate 3 has the dial-up networking Bluetooth profile to allow it to be used as a tethered modem for your computer. Setting this up is not difficult, though Verizon does require that you sign up for a tethering plan to use it to connect to the internet. Though the phone does come with a USB cable, tethering via USB is not possible.
GPS (6.0)
Like other recent Verizon phones, such as the enV2 and Dare, the Chocolate 3 includes the Verizon Navigator software that makes use of its internal GPS receiver. GPS navigation capability is becoming more common in cell phones these days, and the Chocolate 3 has jumped on that bandwagon. This software can locate your position and show you where you are on map. It can also search for local businesses, nearby events, and movies, show you turn-by-turn directions, and give you traffic and weather information. However, using this service entails additional charges - at the time of this review, Verizon charges $2.99 per 24-hour period or $9.99 per month. While it make sense to charge for some of these services, such as traffic information, it would be nice if the Chocolate 3 could make use of its built-in GPS chip without any extra charges at least in some ways. Given the extra charges incurred, we award fewer points for this software than we otherwise would.

PTT (0.0)
The Chocolate 3 is not capable of Push-to-Talk communication.
