Kyocera S1300 Debuts on Cricket, Nokia N86 on Expansys

The Kyocera S1300 mobile phone is now available on Cricket Communications for $89.99. The handset supports Mobile Web for downloading ringtones and graphics and is s HAC-compliant and supports TTY/TDD for the hearing-impaired.
HP have confirmed that their future devices will support have Windows Mobile 6.5 as its operating system. HP smartphones with Windows Mobile 6.5 will also automatically discover Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 settings for company e-mail.
The Nokia N86 is now up for pre-order on the Expansys website. Retailing for €659.99, the dual-slider features an 8MP camera with a Carl Zeiss Tessar lens and should be available by 22nd July 2009.

Apple will soon start phasing out all the free applications on its Apps Store. Their decision is based on a study conducted by research firm Pinch Media who found out that only 30 percent of people actually use the applications.
“Paid applications generally retain their users longer than free applications, although the drop-off is still pretty steep,” a Pinch Media spokesperson said.
