Front Closed
With the keyboard hidden, the screen is the showcase piece of the front of the Touch Pro2. Above the screen is the earpiece speaker, and to its right is the front-facing camera. At the very edge of the device below the screen are the Send, Start, back, and End buttons.

The Touch Pro2's keyboard resides in the bottom portion of the phone and slides out to the left of the screen. When open, the screen tilts and holds at virtually any position.

Bottom
On the bottom of the Touch Pro2 is the only port for syncing and charging as well as headphone use, which requires an adapter. The port has a mini USB connector that is shaped a bit differently to accommodate HTC's proprietary ExtUSB accessories in addition to standard mini USB plugs. You can see the edge of the stylus in its slot on the right side.

Back
On the back of the Touch Pro2 is the camera lens. Right next to the lens is a mute button for the speakerphone. The speakerphone speakers are within the mesh grill material surrounding the section where the lens and mute button are.

Handling
The Touch Pro2 feels solid in the hand and is well-balanced when the keyboard is revealed. At 6.61 ounces, it is a bit on the portly side and may present a challenge to those used to lighter devices, particularly during long phone calls.

Portability
The Touch Pro2 is 4.57" long, 2.33" wide, and .68" thick, putting it pretty much on par size-wise with devices like the iPhone 3G and the Blackberry Storm, and it won't be hard to pocket for the most part.

Aesthetics
It's hard to make a large device with a slide-out QWERTY look polished and sophisticated, but HTC managed it with the Touch Pro2. With a just-right shape to the curved edges of the front to the brushed metal accents, the Touch Pro2 has a professional and stylish face.
