OS
The Touch Pro2 runs Windows Mobile 6.1. During our time with the Touch Pro2, we noted that the Start menu looked different than we typically see on Windows Mobile devices, and we were told that in preparation for Windows Mobile 6.5, HTC had preemptively changed the look of the Start menu to match what it will look like in the next iteration of Windows Mobile so the transition would not be as abrupt for users at its release. This is some pretty considerable forethought on HTC's part, in our book.

Home Screen
The TouchFLo interface's default home screen provides you with the time and quick links to your call history, calendar, and more. This special screen can be turned off to show the regular Windows Mobile Today screen that will provide you with upcoming appointments, tasks, and more all at a quick glance.

Extensibility
The Windows Mobile operating system is highly extensible with literally thousands of 3rd-party applications available to extend the functionality of the device.
Browser
We didn't get to explore the Touch Pro2's browser that much, but what we did see showed us that it has the powerful browsing abilities we've seen on devices like the HTC Touch Diamond. Coupled with such a large screen, web browsing should be a pure pleasure on the Touch Pro2.
