Cellular Bands (4.0)
The Touch Diamond operates on Sprint's CDMA network. Outside of the U.S., GSM networks are more prevalent, and a CDMA-only phone like the Touch Diamond will not connect to them at all. If you travel abroad often, you'll most likely want to consider a GSM phone instead.
Data Support Score (6.0)
The Touch Diamond can connect to Sprint's high-speed EV-DO network that can attain speeds up to 2.4 Mbit/s. If no EV-DO coverage is available, it steps down to 1xRTT coverage that can reach speeds up to 144 kbit/s. We award a standard number of points for this level of data connectivity.
Bluetooth (9.0)
The Touch Diamond has a Bluetooth radio operating on the 2.0 EDR standard and includes a healthy 12 profiles to provide a good level of functionality. Included is the coveted A2DP stereo audio profile that will allow you to use stereo Bluetooth headphones to listen to your music sans annoying wires. We found it easy to pair devices with the Touch Diamond.

Wi-Fi (5.0)
The Touch Diamond includes WiFi 802.11b/g, a welcome addition in a smartphone to get a faster data connection for web browsing and other activities when a WiFi network is available. Additionally, some airlines are now offering WiFi on flights though a phone's cellular radio must still be turned off, which can easily be accomplished through the Comm Manager application on the Touch Diamond.
