Resolution
The Magic has a 3.2-megapixel camera that will capture images with a resolution of 2064 x 1552 pixels. The T-Mobile G1 has a camera with the same megapixel rating, and it did not fare as well as we'd hoped in our imaging testing - we found that it took images that were noisy and had poor color and resolution. We hope that some improvements have been made to the Magic's internals and image processing to improve this, but we will have to wait and see.
Interface
As on the G1, the Magic's interface is pretty simple. The live preview takes up the entire screen, with only an icon in the top right to indicate the current shooting mode. Tapping on the screen will bring up a menu that offers options to switch to video mode, go to the photo gallery, or change the settings. Yep, you read that right - the Magic has a video capture mode, unlike the T-Mobile G1. Yay for progress!

Zoom
The Magic's camera does not have digital or optical zoom, as is the case with the T-Mobile G1 and iPhone 3G. This seems like an odd omission; a digital zoom is better than nothing.
Focus
The Magic has an auto-focus lens.
Flash
The Magic does not have a flash; not even an LED light that can add a bit of light to a secene.
Video
As previously noted, the Magic is now capable of recording video out of the box. Aspiring directors and YouTube junkies, rejoice!
