Qik for Blackberry version 1 alpha is now available for download from here. Via Qik, BlackBerry users can stream video live from their mobile phone and embed it on social networking sites.

Engadget is reporting that Verizon Wireless has halted the sales of Samsung Glyde because of an “issue”.  No further details are available as of now but many feel that issue may pertain to the touchscreen.


 

Mobile-Review has posted some pretty neat shots of the Motorola luxury handset MOTOAURA. The handset features two SIM slots and takes an unusual design route which may appeal to the fashion-conscious user.



The BlackBerry Flip will debut on Canadian network Rogers on the 29th of October. The phone will cost  $49.99 after a 3-year contract and purchase of voice and data combo of $35.
