Garmin-Asus G60 delayed

Garmin has announced that their G60 Nuviphone, which we previewed at Mobile World Congress in February, will be delayed. At Mobile World Congress, Garmin stated the phone would be released in the first half of 2009, and this recent statement pushes this release back to Q3. Considering that the device was first announced in early 2008, this recent delay will result a total of a year and a half for the G60 to make it to the market. During this time, Blackberry and HTC have brought significant touchscreen devices to the market, Apple's iPhone has been updated and will likely be updated again this summer, and Palm will debut its new WebOS with the Pre.
