The G60 has a native email client that supports the POP3, IMAP 4, IMAP Idle, and SMTP protocols. It cannot handle push email from a Microsoft Exchange Server or other push email service, unlike the HTC Touch Diamond and iPhone 3G.

The G60 does not have an IM application.

Text & Multimedia Messaging
The G60 is capable of sending text and multimedia messages to share photos. These messages can also be geo-tagged with your location information, if you choose to share this information.
