FCC Approves Motorola QA4, Palm Treo Pro on Sprint and More

The Powers of Be at the FCC have given the green signal to the Motorola QA4. The touch sensitive phone also features a slide out keyboard and supports 850/1700/1900 MHz CDMA radios. The frequencies indicate that the phone is compatible with networks like Sprint, Verizon, and MetroPCS.

Digg's Kevin Rose is reporting that the much-anticipated iPhone 3.0 update will include features like copy and paste support and will have features similar to Palm Pre. However unfortunately one still won’t get support for background apps.

Due to a buggy interface and speaker faults, European customers are returning the Sony Ericsson C905 handset. Sony Ericsson’s UK and Ireland managing director, Nathan Vautier, said: ‘We understand the specific quality issues were on early [batches of] C905 handsets in 2008, and we rapidly implemented steps to resolve the particular elements that caused concern, such as the speaker phone problems.’

The Palm Treo Pro is now finally available on the Sprint Nextel network. The Windows Mobile 6.1 PDA is retailing for $199.99 after rebate and a 2-year agreement.
