Cingular's Nation 6000 FamilyTalk w/ Rollover plan their highest priced postpaid family plan. 6000 anytime minutes are shared amongst two to five lines for calls outside of Cingular’s network, during daytime hours on weekdays. Unlimited night and weekend minutes are available starting at 9:00 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends.
Cingular's Nation 6000 FamilyTalk w/ Rollover plan also includes unlimited calling to any of Cingular’s 58 million customers, a good choice if many of your friends/family are on Cingular’s network. The cost per minute works out to 5 cents a minute for the first two lines, significantly below the average for all of our reviewed plans of 8 cents a minute. The 6000 minute plan however is not cheaper per minute than Cingular's 3000 or 4000 minute plan. Each additional line costs $9.99.
Nation plans allow you to make long distance calls within the United States at no extra charge, and free roaming throughout the United States. Cingular’s Rollover feature rolls unused minutes over for future use, although you should remember that they do expire after a year.
This plan is a good choice if you have a large number of moderate to high volume users. It is not a good choice for families that only use their cell phones a small or moderate amount of time.This plan can be used with any phone Cingular offers.
