Cingular’s Individual Nation 450 w/ Rollover plan is their lowest priced postpaid plan. 450 anytime minutes are available for calls outside of Cingular’s network, during daytime hours on weekdays. 5000 night and weekend minutes are available starting at 9:00 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends.
Cingular’s Individual Nation 450 w/ Rollover plan also includes unlimited calling to any of Cingular’s 58 million customers, a good choice if many of your friends/family are on Cingular’s network. The cost per minute works out at 9 cents a minute, a little above the average for all of our reviewed plans of 8 cents a minute.
Nation plans allow you to make long distance calls within the United States at no extra charge, and free roaming throughout the United States. Cingular’s Rollover feature rolls unused minutes over for future use, although you should remember that they do expire after a year.
This plan is a good choice for individuals who use their cell phone a limited amount or make a majority of their calls on nights & weekends or to others on the Cingular network. Although this plan does not include unlimited nights & weekends, as most Cingular plans do, 5000 is sufficient for most users. This plan can be used with any phone Cingular offers. If you are purchasing service for more than one individual, you should consider a family plan.
