The BlackBerry Javelin pops up on eBay, Xperia gets a release date,  BlackBerry Curve 8350i on Sprint and more.  Here is today’s mobile web round up.

If you are a BlackBerry fanatic and find the waiting game excruciating then you can order the BlackBerry Javelin on eBay. An unlocked BlackBerry Javelin 8900 is currently selling for over $2,000 and there is still time to join the bidding war.

Sony Ericsson fans mark your calendars as the date of the Xperia X1 has been announced. The smartphone will debut on September 30 in UK, Germany and Sweden and markets in Europe, Asia and Latin America twill get the handset in Q4 2008.








The Google location-aware search function is now available for a plethora of Windows Mobile devices. The function uses Gears Geolocation API, and gives localized search automatically. Search with My Location for now is available in the US and UK only.



The BlackBerry Curve 8350i will debut on Sprint Nextel iDEN network by the end of 2008. The BlackBerry Curve 8350i will offer Wi-Fi capabilities and Group Connect, allowing instant conversations with upto 21 people nationwide.







Velocity Mobile has announced the availability of its first touchscreen phone, the Velocity 103. According to the press release, the unlocked Velocity 103 will start shipping from September 30th through Expansys for £334.99.
