BlackBerry Curve 8900 Debuts in Germany, Nokia E63 Unveiled and More

RIM and T-Mobile have officially announced the BlackBerry Curve 8900 in Germany. However what really piqued our interest was the mention of a US release. According to RIM, the 8900 that supports GSM/EDGE, Wi-Fi and GPS should be available in the US by the first quarter of 2009.

 

A patch is now available for smartphones running on the Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. The CAB file with the patch contains a hotfix for sending POP and IMAP E-mail and can be download from here.

 

The Samsung a777 is now available on the AT&T network. It’s retailing for $79.99 after rebates and a 2-year contract. For more information head over here.

 

 

 

Nokia yesterday welcomed the latest addition to the E-Series family. The newly announcedNokia E63 features Wi-Fi connectivity, easy access to Mail for Exchange and dedicated keys to contacts, calendar and email. The Nokia E63 is expected to begin shipping soon for EUR 199, before taxes and subsidies.
