Tethered Modem (6.0)
The Curve can be used as a dial-up modem for your computer via USB or Bluetooth. We were easily able to set up a partnership and create a dial-up profile on both a PC and Mac. You should only do so if you have an unlimited data plan, though, otherwise you will quickly find your cell phone bill reaching pain-inducing proportions.
GPS (0.0)
The BlackBerry Curve 8320 does not support GPS capability, unlike its cousin, the BlackBerry Curve 8310.
T-Mobile Hotspot at Home (5.0)
One of the reasons T-Mobile chose the Wi-Fi-supporting BlackBerry Curve 8320 was that it can support its new Hotspot at Home service. This allows you to make phone calls via Wi-Fi, which saves you from using your plan minutes. Calls are cleanly shifted to the cell network when you go out of range of your Wi-Fi hotspot. To get this service you need to pay an additional $9.99 per month. We feel like business people who spend a lot of time at a workplace that has Wi-Fi access may find this a very useful feature, but for those who are constantly out and about it's probably not worth it. For more information about T-Mobile's Hotspot at Home service please see our full review here.
