At MWC: The HTC Magic Unveiled for Vodafone, Samsung OmniaHD Spotted in Barcelona and More

At the MWC 2009, the one phone that sent waves of excitement was the HTC Magic . A full touchscreen Android device, the Magic will run exclusively on Vodafone and will support 850/900/1800/1900 MHz frequencies. Some other specs include; 3.2″ HVGA (480×320) touchscreen, accelerometer and GPS.
The Samsung Omnia just got bigger and better. The Samsung OmniaHD, which was spotted at MWC 2009, boasts of a breathtaking 3.7″ AMOLED touchscreen, an 8-megapixel cameras and it also supports720p video recording.

Microsoft Corp and Gemalto have collaborated to offer Windows Live Messenger services via a new Windows Live Messenger client application. Its called SIMessenger, and will come pre-installed on phone Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards. For more information one can visit the MS booth (stand 8A102) at MWC 2009.
At the MWC 2009, LG unveiled what it claims to be the “world’s first transparent design phone”, the LG-GD900. The glass-like phone apart from its sublime design also features a sliding illuminating translucent keypad and will ship with a dedicated Bluetooth headset. No word on pricing though handset is scheduled for release during the second quarter of 2009.
The Sony Ericsson C903 is a multimedia phone that features a 5-megapixel camera. Exhibiting at MWC, the phone also features GPS with Google Maps and A2DP profile support. No word on pricing.
