The Motorola QA4 Evoke, which was spotted at the CTIA, is a slider handset with a touchscreen. Touting a 2-megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom, it features a 2.8” WQVGA 240×400 display and has widgets similar to the iPhone.

At the CTIA trade show, the Samsung Impression made quite an impression (no pun intended). Equipped with a QWERTY keyboard, the phone features an active-matrix organic light-emitting diode display, a 3-megapixel camera, a full HTML browser, and Samsung's TouchWiz interface.

At the CTIA Wireless, Verizon Wireless unveiled their new application marketplace that is on the same lines as the Apple App store and the new BlackBerry App World. Hence  now Verizon subscribers can download and purchase applications and games over the air.
