Tethered Modem (0.0)
The iPhone does not support working as a tethered modem (where you use the phone as a way to connect a laptop to the Internet). The Bluetooth does not include the requisite protocol, and there's no way to connect to the Internet over the USB port. This is another feature that could be enabled in the future if Apple wants to, but not for now.
