Tethered Modem (0.0)
The Apple iPhone 3G S is fully capable of acting as a tethered modem for your computer. It's just that AT&T won't let you do it. As such we are awarding zero points until they get their act together and enable this feature.
GPS (7.0)
The Apple iPhone 3G S has full GPS support, and this new model comes with a built-in compass, to help you orient yourself better. Navigation is available out of the box via Google Maps, although this does require a data connection to download the maps and doesn't include voice guided turn-by-turn directions. If you're out in the boonies you'll have to pick up a third party navigation program for a full set of maps on the device and a more robust GPS experience.
