Android 1.5 for T-Mobile G1, Sony Ericsson Satio Official and More

Engadget Mobile is reporting that T-Mobile has started rolling out the OTA update of the Android 1.5 for the G1. The update brings on board new features like third-party widget support, a virtual keyboard and an improved UI.


 


At the All Things Digital conference, Palm shed some more light on the new Palm webOS platform. The Palm webOS synchronizes seamlessly with iTunes, has integrated Twitter search and also acts as a mass storage drive. Read the press release here.
 

 


Sony Ericsson unveiled the Satio multimedia phone, which was first introduced in Barcelona as the ‘Idou’. The phone comes equipped with a 3.5-inch screen, supports 16:9 widescreen format, has a 12.1 megapixel camera with Xenon flash and face and smile detection. Satio supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS/HSDPA 850/900/2100.

 

 

 

 


HTC Fuze users can soon download a new ROM update for their handset. The upgrade brings the following changes:

* Microsoft’s Windows Mobile Adaptation Kit Update (AKU) 1.4.6
    * Slide to Answer
    * Push To Talk Button is now re-assignable
    * FM Radio Application
    * Enhanced MS Voice Command
    * Call waiting indicator is now audible when using Speakerphone
    * HTC Music player supports Album art/info
    * Improved TouchFlo3D (TF3D) and User Interface performance
    * A-GPS Update: Speeds up the time it takes the GPS to get a fix on your location
    * Quick GPS is still recommended for the optimal operation of GPS based applications and services
