Tethered Modem (6.0)
The Tilt can connect to a computer with a USB cable or over Bluetooth and be used as a tethered modem. All you need to do is install the appropriate drivers, which are located on the included CD. Set-up is easy, and similar to all other Windows Mobile devices.
GPS (7.0)
The Tilt has built-in GPS and Telenav Maps. Telenav Maps let you get directions and create maps for free, but if you want to get turn-by-turn directions there's a fee. You can buy a bundle of 10 uses per month for $5.99 or pay $9.99 for unlimited uses. Whether you want to pay for this or not depends on if you have someone sitting next to you who can help you navigate.
PTT (5.0)
As the Tilt is an AT&T phone, it has access to AT&T's Push-to-Talk network. You can access it by pressing the dedicated key on the left side.
