AT&T Launches 3G in Suffolk Counties

AT&T in a press release today announced that their 3G network now extends from New York City through Nassau, Suffolk Counties out to Montauk Point and covers Fire Island, Shelter Island and Fisher’s Island. According to the company, their  3G network is now available in 280 U.S. major metropolitan areas.

"AT&T is committed to delivering a superior network experience every time our customers make a call, send a text message or read an e-mail on their AT&T wireless device," said Jay Summerson, vice president, AT&T External Affairs for New York.
