Samsung S8300 Ultra Touch Debuts, Nokia Maps 3.0 with Ovi Maps Available and More

The Samsung S8300 Ultra Touch is the latest mobile phone on the block. The 3G handset has an impressive feature set and includes a 2.8” AMOLED anti-scratch full touch screen, an 8MP camera, support for DivX, XviD, H.263, H.264, WMV9 and MPEG4 and a A-GPS module.

The Nokia Maps 3.0 with Ovi Maps is now available for download. The new version offers enhanced Drive and Walk navigation and synchronization with Ovi Maps and one can now also plan routings on Ovi Maps. For more information head overhere.



A beta version of Google Sync for the iPhone and Windows Mobile phones is now available. Google Sync allows one to get their Gmail Contacts and Google Calendar events to their phone and uses push technology.


Google has released Android 1.1 SDK for developers. The latest version includes new APIs and also features a new emulator. An updated v1.1 system image for the Android Developer Phone 1 will be coming soon.
